Destiny Peery, senior advisor, is a social scientist, legal scholar, and research consultant. She’s been on the faculties at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and Duke University School of Law, teaching and writing on criminal law, anti-discrimination law, and race, law and social science. She has more than 15 years of experience conducting experimental, survey, and other research. She holds a PhD in social psychology and a JD from Northwestern University.
In addition to her academic research, Destiny has served as a primary investigator for research on the legal profession for the American Bar Association (ABA), the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), and the Red Bee Group. She has also served as an expert in legal cases, producing reports and testimony aimed at introducing courts to the social science of bias and stereotyping and encouraging application of it in cases involving alleged discrimination.
